Organic rice vinegar is made from 100% organic GMO-free Japanese rice. It is fermented through a natural and traditional method. It has a mild, acidic taste and a pleasant fruity scent. Its acidity is 4.5%.
A white film may be seen on the surface due to a type of acetic acid bacteria that exists in the air touching the vinegar. It may influence the scent of the product but it is harmless to the consumer. To prevent, make sure to close the cap properly and refrigerate it after opening (especially in the summer).
